Ladies & gentlemen’s toilets are provided on each level of the visitor centre and accessible toilets can be found in the toilet blocks also. These are to the right as you enter the building on the ground floor and directly in front of the stairs on the first floor. If there is a queue at the ground floor toilet block you may find the first floor toilets are less busy. If one block of toilets is closed for cleaning the other will be open. Baby changing facilities are also provided on the ground floor.
Motion sensitive taps are in use at the sinks – wave your hand under the tap to start the flow of water. We use Dyson cold air hand dryers as these are the most energy efficient and environmentally friendly dryers available.
There is an automated teller machine (ATM) or cash machine inside the gift shop on the ground floor of the visitor centre building to the left. The ATM will close approximately one hour before the gift shop closes. Outside the visitor centre the nearest ATM can be found in Lahinch.
If you have bulky luggage you wish to store while onsite please see the staff in the gift shop on the ground floor. There is complimentary use of the baggage store available during gift shop opening hours.
Tourist Information & Accommodation Booking
There is a tourist information desk inside the gift shop which can provide accommodation booking as required. Information on the local area is also available from staff on the main reception desk on the ground floor.
First Aid – Nicholas Room
A fully equipped first aid room is located on the ground floor beside the reception desk. A number of trained first aiders will be on duty every day. If you require first aid assistance please see any member of staff and they will arrange for a trained member of staff to assist you.
The first aid room is called Nicholas Room in memory of baby Nicholas Stokes whose short life began and ended at the Cliffs of Moher in July 2006. His parents, Kelly Stokes & Delia Garcia Stokes, set up a fund in his memory to provide first aid facilities and services at the Cliffs of Moher.
Wheelchairs on loan
We have a number of manual wheelchairs available which can be taken out on loan while you are onsite. Please see any member of staff if you would like to borrow a wheelchair.
Bring home a special souvenir of your visit to the Cliffs of Moher that you help make yourself. At various locations around the visitor centre building penny press machines allow you to imprint a Cliffs of Moher design of your choosing onto a 5cent piece. The cost to press a 5cent coin is €1 and different designs are available at different locations.
