Getting here by Campervan

What better way to see the beauty of Ireland, then by renting a camper van. Getting to the Cliffs of Moher can be daunting when you see the small Irish roads, but don’t be afraid, once you stay on your side of the road everything will be fine. Winding your way to the Cliffs of Moher, you can use the many lay-bys to stop and admire the spectacular views. What better way than to enjoy them than with a hot steaming cup of tea from your camper van. There is no height restrictions for campervans.

It’s always important to know where the Cliffs of Moher are located, whether you are using navigation device, smart phone or just a plain old map. The Cliffs of Moher is located in Liscannor, Co. Clare. You can get here by road, from both the Galway and Limerick directions. If ever in doubt, ask a passerby, they will help you find your way.

For directions see the Getting Here main page.

Due to the popularity of the Cliffs of Moher as a tourist attraction the visitor centre and site can become crowded during the peak times of the day 11am – 4pm, during the months May to September, and at weekends school and bank holidays at other times.  The visitor centre has extended opening hours from March to October and it is advisable that if you are travelling to the Cliffs by car or public transport that you do so outside of these times for your maximum comfort and enjoyment of your visit. The Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre is open until 9pm in July and August.  See Visitor centre Opening Hours for the details for other months.
