{"id":20368,"date":"2025-05-16T11:18:56","date_gmt":"2025-05-16T11:18:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cliffsofmoher.ie\/?p=20368"},"modified":"2026-06-09T15:14:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-09T15:14:09","slug":"cliffs-community-charity-fun-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cliffsofmoher.ie\/en\/cliffs-community-charity-fun-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Cliffs Community Charity Fun Day 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"Join us on Saturday, 24th of May for the Cliffs of Moher Community Charity Fun Day in aid of Milford Care Centre!\r\n<p style=\"margin: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Cliffs of Moher Hosts Annual Charity Fundraiser Event.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"margin: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Milford Care Centre has been chosen as the beneficiary of this year&#8217;s Cliffs of Moher Community Charity Fun Day, which will feature a host of family entertainment including live music and dancing, singing, face painting, and spot prizes.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"margin: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Funds will be raised for Milford Care Centre in Limerick, a very worthy cause, during a community charity event at the Cliffs of Moher Experience on Saturday, 24th May.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"margin: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Milford Care Centre provides specialist palliative care, nursing home care, and bereavement support services to individuals and families across the Mid-West region. The Centre plays a vital role in ensuring those facing life-limiting illnesses receive compassionate, high-quality care, either at home, in its hospice, or in other residential settings.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"margin: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">The world-famous visitor attraction&#8217;s annual fundraising event also gives the organisation the opportunity to meet and engage with the Clare public and share information about the critical services they provide.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"margin: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Councillor Alan &#8216;Callaghan, Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council, said, &#8220;Staff at the Cliffs of Moher Experience have a long track record of hosting charity events and helping to promote awareness of many good causes. This year&#8217;s chosen charities do fantastic work in delivering community-based services that help people all over Limerick and Clare, and I would urge the public to show their support on the day.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"margin: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Geraldine O&#8217;Rourke, General Manager of Cliffs of Moher Experience and Clare Tourism West, commented, &#8220;The Cliffs of Moher Experience Charity of the Year programme was first initiated by staff in 2020 and forms part of our ongoing social responsibility efforts. It helps us build strong connections with our local community while supporting vital services.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"margin: 0in;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">Mrs. O&#8217;Rourke added, &#8220;We invite people of all ages to come along and enjoy the wide range of fun activities throughout the site, while also helping to raise funds for this worthy cause.
