The Climbing Wall at Shannon Leisure Centre is a state of the art wall boasting 11 separate Belay points.  Each Belay Point offers two equally challenging routes which cater for the novices amongst us right up to the more proficient.  It offers an exciting, challenging and fun way to exercise for kids and adults of all ages. The cost is €5 pp to climb.

Fancy a Dip?

Shannon Swimming Pool features a 25-m swimming pool as well as a baby pool for the little ones.

Need to Relax & Recharge?

Relax and unwind after a hard day in the Sauna & Steam Room. The newly wood-finished Sauna and extra-large Steam room are the ideal treat for those tired bodies after a long day exploring County Clare.

One of Ireland’s most famous sights, the Cliffs of Moher are entirely vertical and the cliff edge is abrupt. On a clear day the views are tremendous, with the Aran Islands etched on the waters of Galway Bay. From the cliff edge you can just hear the booming far below as the waves crash and gnaw at the soft shale and sandstone.

With a due-west exposure, sunset is the best time to visit.
