Cliffs by land and sea
See the Cliffs from Land and Sea – the Ultimate Package
Combining your visit to the Cliffs of Moher Experience with a boat trip below the cliffs is a fantastic way to complete your adventure. Each view offers its own unique perspective, but from the sea, you truly appreciate how immense these iconic rocks are, and how small we are in comparison! Garrihy’s Doolin2Aran Ferries offer boat trips from Doolin village, which is a 15-minute drive north of the Cliffs of Moher Experience and sailings depart daily almost every hour from April to October.
The sheer spectacle of the cliffs towering above the boat is an incredible, unforgettable experience. Onboard Doolin2Aran’s comfortable new ships, you will sail directly below the Cliffs of Moher Experience and further south towards Hags head. You will be treated to a spectacular live performance from thousands of birds who nest among the rocks, as they call to each other and dive for fish. Look out for everyone’s favourite, the Atlantic Puffins, and also the famous sea cave that featured in the Harry Potter movie, The Half-Blood Prince.
Our experienced, friendly #BlueCrew guides are on hand to help you get the most out of your boat trip, pointing out the amazing sights and describing what you are looking at – the seabirds, the rock formations and the fascinating history of the area.
The Cliffs of Moher Experience and the boat trip are two separate tours, and do not have to be taken on the same day. Book your boat trip first and you will receive an entry ticket for your visit to the Cliffs of Moher Experience to take when it suits you.
We look forward to having you onboard!
