Halloween experience at the Cliffs of Moher

October 20th,

If you go down to the Cliffs of Moher next weekend, you’re sure of a big surprise. Following a break in Halloween activities in 2020 due to Covid-19, the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience is once again hosting a Halloween-themed weekend this year.

The visitor centre will be adorned in Halloween decorations on Saturday 30th October and Sunday 31st October when it will host the spookiest Halloween party in the West.

The fun-filled family days will feature tricks ‘n treats with a free goody bag for every child. Children will also receive a Treasure Hunt with clues that will lead them to five locations on site.

Staff dressed in Halloween costumes will be telling tales of long ago and spooky stories from the Cliffs of Moher within the cavern-like visitor centre, while anyone who arrives in Halloween fancy dress will be in with a chance of winning some scarily good spot prizes.

Geraldine Enright, Director of the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience, said, “Last year’s event was cancelled due to Covid-19, but we are delighted to be able to once again welcome back people for our annual Halloween event. We promise a fun day out for all the family and look forward to welcoming ghosts, goblins, witches and wizards of all shapes, sizes and ages through our visitor centre doors next weekend.”

Visitors to Ireland’s most popular natural attraction also will be able to enjoy a menu filled with locally sourced produce. The Cliffs View Café and Puffins Nest, both located within the visitor centre, will be offering visitors Halloween Muffins, & Treats, as well as Pumpkin Soup.
