This circuit guides you along narrow paths, the lakeshore, and forested trails within Dromore Woods, leading you past the remains of Killakee Church, the edges of Lough Garr and Dromore Lough, and the impressive O’Brien Castle.
This Nature Reserve was established due to its diversity and distinct habitats, such as a river, lakes, turloughs, callows (flooded meadows), limestone pavement, fen peat, reed beds, and thriving woodland species.
