Weather and When to Visit

The beauty of the Cliffs and the weather is that they can be cloaked in fog one minute and basking in the sun’s rays the next. The weather is highly unpredictable.

So when visiting, it’s best to come prepared for all types of weather with a good rain jacket and a pair of walking boots. Whatever the weather, the Cliffs have been voted in the world’s 25 most popular ‘selfie spots’, clocking in at no.25 as per Instagram in 2021.

You can get accurate weather conditions by checking the national weather service on the day you plan to visit us. Go to Download our App and Audio guide for live updates on the Cliffs of Moher weather.
