North Clare Sea Kayaking

North Clare Sea Kayaking offers fully-guided sea kayaking tours along the Wild Atlantic Way – from the wildlife sanctuary of Ballyvaughan Bay, to the hidden caves in Liscannor, and not forgetting the wonderful and abandoned Mutton Island. Tours are suitable for any skill level and great for families, groups and individuals.

You can select from half-day and full-day tours. All necessary equipment is provided, including top of the range Necky brand kayaks, wetsuits, boots, rain cags and life vests.

The company operates year round at 10 am, 2 pm and 6 pm (6 pm in June-Aug only) and can also tailor times to suit your group.

  • Island Exploration from Seafield to Mutton Island

One of Ireland’s most famous sights, the Cliffs of Moher are entirely vertical and the cliff edge is abrupt. On a clear day the views are tremendous, with the Aran Islands etched on the waters of Galway Bay. From the cliff edge you can just hear the booming far below as the waves crash and gnaw at the soft shale and sandstone.

With a due-west exposure, sunset is the best time to visit.
