The Burren Perfumery

The Burren Perfumery

The Burren Perfumery draws inspiration from the flora and beauty of the Burren landscape to create its signature scents, artisan range of hand-crafted soaps, certified organic creams and candles using the very best natural and organic ingredients sourced from all around the world.

A busy working factory, visitors are welcome free-of-charge and year-round to observe the Perfumery team members as they go about their daily tasks. All products are hand-made on-site and can be purchased in the Perfumery shop. Perfume talks, open door sessions and tours take place throughout the Summer season and all details can be found at

Visitors are able to nourish both body and soul with some refreshments at the Perfumery’s Tea Rooms – and by taking a stroll through the award-winning, organic Herb Garden. You can also see a free, locally-shot short film outlining the history and beauty of the Burren.

Co. Clare

One of Ireland’s most famous sights, the Cliffs of Moher are entirely vertical and the cliff edge is abrupt. On a clear day the views are tremendous, with the Aran Islands etched on the waters of Galway Bay. From the cliff edge you can just hear the booming far below as the waves crash and gnaw at the soft shale and sandstone.

With a due-west exposure, sunset is the best time to visit.
