The First Day
Discover Aillwee Cave, located in the heart of the Burren region, perched high on its terraced mountainside with one of the most spectacular views of Galway Bay. You will explore the underworld of the Burren in the show cave, take a walk with a hawk or watch a flying display at the birds of prey centre.

The First Afternoon

The Second Day
At the Cliffs of Moher Experience you will walk the safe, paved pathways and view the famous Cliffs on Europe’s western frontier and enjoy the spectacular vistas over sea, land and sky. The Second Afternoon
Visit Lahinch, famous for its Victorian promenade – an ideal spot for people watching! On your visit to the Cliffs of Moher Experience stop off for a coffee-break at Moher Cottage. Less than a mile from the Cliffs of Moher experience, enjoy the amazing terrace views. The coffee has been reported as the best in Ireland.

Dine in the Wild Honey Inn, a Michelin starred pub. Located in a lovingly restored 19th century Inn, nestled in the Burren National Park. Travel to Doolin and stay in Anthony’s. Today you will sail to the Aran Islands, on board Garrihy’s Doolin2Aran Ferries. Explore the island’s stunning landscape with its ancient castles and maze of stone walls. On the way back, you will view the Cliffs of Moher by sea. The sheer spectacle of the cliffs towering above the boat is an incredible, unforgettable experience, sailing directly below the Cliffs of Moher and further south towards Hag’s Head.

The Third Night
This evening enjoy a taste of the Burren at Anthony’s in Doolin. Enjoy some of the freshest taste experiences around, with local artisanal produce being at the core of their food ethos. The seafood is freshly caught by local fishermen; herbs and vegetables are grown in the polytunnel and otherwise, sourced where possible, from local growers and foragers. The meat all hails from local farmers around the Burren and west of Ireland region.

The Fourth Morning
Enjoy your last breakfast at the Doolin Inn and check out of the hotel. Today you will visit the Burren Smokehouse, a family-run business set up in 1989 by Birgitta & Peter Curtin in Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare. Ten thousand salmon each year go into producing 50 tonnes of delicious smoked goods. You can visit the smokehouse and learn how the fish is smoked.

A guided tour of the Burren with the Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark Geologist. In this tour, Dr. Eamon Doyle will give you insights on the dramatic formation of the Burren and Cliffs of Moher which started over 300 million years ago. He will provide intriguing details of the complex underground river systems and the unique biodiversity that can be found in the region.
